I believe that "All that is not shared is lost". My search for an online tutorial to teach me on how to do
 SMS and USSD application never succeed. I did not like this at all! However, I finally got to learn this, never worry how. For those who have been looking for that, you have a reason to smile. This blog by name "Techie Tips" will give you, a techie, as you call yourselves, a feel of SMSs and USSD application. I know that you ask yourself, "How do one send a SMS from a website?" What is a SMS or USSD gateway? There are these applications that work, both on smart phones and feature phones, by dialing a "*" a number and finally a "#" e.g. *144#. For those from Kenya would tell you that this is a code for balance inquiry from Safaricom Ltd. So, how do these applications work? Sit back, you will know how they work. Do not forget that MPESA used in Tanzania is a USSD application!
